Position requirements: Intern must: a) have excellent written and verbal communication skills, b) have experience using and navigating social media sites, c) have graphic design experience, d) be self-motivated, e) be able to work onsite as needed, and f) be creative.
Job description: We are looking for a volunteer to update our social media sites and website on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, depending on the site. Position involves taking and posting weekly showroom photos on Facebook, posting special merchandise on Craigslist, updating our Facebook page with postings, videos, photos, and current events, updating our website with graphic design elements, and more! The goal of this position is to increase our online presence, thereby engaging more supporters, volunteers and other interested parties to our mission of building affordable housing. This is a great internship for hands‐on experience in marketing a non‐profit on the web and increasing awareness, donations, and volunteers through a free communications medium.
