Habitat Schenectady ReStore….Don't Dump It! Donate & Deduct It!

The Schenectady Habitat for Humanity ReStore:

  • Sells new, used, and surplus donated household goods to the community at low prices

  • Sales provide funding for Habitat's effort to provide affordable housing in Schenectady County

  • Donors receive the benefit of a charitable tax deduction

  • Diverts up to 50 tons of reusable materials from area landfills per year

How can you get involved?

Donations are vital to meeting our affiliate’s house building goals. All donations should be in good working condition. Your tax deductible donation will support affordable homeownership and community revitalization in Schenectady County.

Have something you would like to donate? Contact Randy Sparrow, ReStore Manager, at 1.518.395.3412, ext. 6#  or for additional details.

Come in and browse our ever-changing inventory for bargains to decorate, renovate or just update the look of your home.

Have more time to browse our inventory by volunteering at the ReStore. You’ll meet fabulous people, have fun and get the chance to help out a great organization, while serving the community! This is a great opportunity for students looking to expand their work experience in preparation for college.
