DONATIONS OF ITEMS FOR THE RESTORE
"Don't Dump It, Donate & Deduct It!" We welcome donations of acceptable items to sell at the ReStore. For those wishing to donate items, please note the list of acceptable materials outlined in our Donation Material Screening Criteria
. We accept good to excellent condition items like: kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, lighting fixtures, working appliances, interior & exterior building materials, used furniture, & more! (We appreciate a phone call prior to drop-off, please.)
We are always looking for volunteers to work in the store.
A lot of folks ask us, "How do I know the value of an item I am donating for tax purposes?" Well, technically your item has no value to Habitat until we sell it (value=what the market will bear), and we do not get between you and the IRS. So, the alternative is to visit a site called, Itsdeductible.com where you can query the site to get information that may help you determine your donation's value.
